Threads of a Life in Tune

A Visible Mending Workshop Inspired by Harmony and Repair

What happens when we mend with intention, stitching together fabric, memory, and meaning? In this workshop we'll explore visible mending as more than just a repair technique, it's a practice of honoring life's transformations.

Inspired by the quiet resonance of lived experience, we'll stitch stories into cloth, weaving in reflections on mentors, turning points, and questions still unfolding.

What you'll do:

  • learn simple visible mending techniques to breathe new life into worn textiles

  • choose thread colors to represent key moments in your journey

  • reflect on the rhythms of repair through guided storytelling prompts

  • shape connections through the art of stitching

Who It's For: This workshop welcomes makers, dreamers, educators, artists, and storytellers -- anyone curious about the ways repair can be both practical and poetic. No sewing experience needed; just bring a garment to mend and an openness to explore.
